by MDS
Consumer 300 is an annual ranking of fast-growing, privately held U.S. consumer brands and the founders building them.
Why it exists
Consumer brands manage products, inventory, distribution, marketplaces and retail relationships. This list brings together companies working through those same challenges.
Recognition gives founders and teams something useful to share with retail buyers, prospective hires, investors and commercial partners.
MDS is building the program from its community of more than 700 vetted ecommerce founders. Eligible non-member brands are welcome, and membership does not affect selection.
The inaugural edition
Up to 300 honorees. Clear verification labels. One annual list.
Applications begin with certified figures and supporting documents or a CEO-and-qualified-professional revenue form. Third-party accounting verification is available as a $295 upgrade and is required for final placement in the highest-ranked quartile.

Why trust another ranking?
Founders are right to ask what sits behind an award. Consumer 300 is being built around published growth calculations, separate tracks for established and younger brands, transparent verification labels and decisions that exclude commercial relationships.
MDS operates the program. The accounting partner will check financial evidence; the council will review exceptions and conflicts under published rules. Neither the partner nor the council has been appointed yet. We will identify them before judging, so applicants can assess who is responsible for the work.
